YOGA SCHEDULE UPDATE

It’s been a while I know since my last post……

I hope you’re keeping well and doing even better as we all navigate our way through these ever-changing times that can throw up uncertainties. I hope you’re all managing it without too many hiccups and going with the flow as much as you can, but also remembering to be kind to yourself and cut yourself some slack if sometimes you don’t.

What have I been up to? Well, getting used to teaching in-person classes once again for a start!

I don’t know if you felt the same in that although I was looking forward to returning to teaching once again at St Werburghs Community Centre and Yogasara studio there was also some anxieties around it too, partly to do with the amount of time that had lapsed since I was last there. However, it is good to be back and happy to be sharing space with you lovely people that have joined me so far.

Behind the scenes I’ve also been looking for a new venue for my Wednesday evening class which I’ve now secured, which I’m extremely happy about. Our Mid-week Yoga Flow and Reset is now at be at St Georges Community Centre, Church Road opposite the park from 6-7pm. I’m more used to a 75 class for evening sessions so I’m going to see how it goes with a view to starting a little earlier at 5.45pm if it’s possible. I’d love your thoughts around this, 60 or 75min session?

Something else I’ve been embracing very recently is exercising outdoors with a group at Eastville Park by the lake. This is what I’ve been looking for. It’s a bit addictive.

The universe has been calling me to this group since last Summer! Because I love movement and exercise in general, I often have conversations with people I meet and talk about training they’re engaging in if the subject comes up. ‘I’m training with ‘H’became a regular repsonse! 🙂 This from 4 different people, 3 of whom I’d never met before. I finally take the plunge and committed do it. So glad I did.

Is it challenging? Yes, Is it very physical? Yes, Is it fun? Absolutely. So many things I love about being a part of this group from the camaraderie and support from other members of the group to the mix of ages, gender, levels of experience; all is truly welcome.

It’s not just about the physical it’s also about challenging our mind set, our ‘enemy mind’ as H calls it, and how our self-limiting beliefs, our conditioning and views about ourselves can stop us from reaching our potential.

There’s so much more to say about my experience, maybe I’ll try and post updates and reflections as finishing a session is not where it ends, I find myself reflecting, processing and journaling. This is another part of my journey that I’ve been waiting for.

What about you lovely people? Let me know where you at, how you’re doing and what’s new in your life.

Here’s my current timetable if you’d like to join me:

Monday @ St Werburgh’s Community Centre, Horley Road 7-8.15pm

Thursday @ Yogasara Studio, Picton St 1.30-2.30pm

Wednesday @ St Georges Community Centre, Church Road 6-7pm. I’m also going to continue offering this class as an online option as a way of showing my appreciation for those who won’t be able to attend in person but have continued supporting me throughout the last year which I’m so grateful for.

As always please feel free to contact me for further information, queries etc.

Booking essential as I need to know in advance numbers attending.

Also, please bring your own mat if you have one. I do have good quality second-hand mats for sale should you need one for £5.00. I’m also selling yoga bricks -2 for £5.00. Props can make a useful addition to practice.

As always, be well.

Namaste lovely souls.
